How much are sibling/message stars/dog bones and cat signs?
$25 each. The new parents/siblings keep them at the end of the rental period. Please let me know if you choose not to keep any of the additional signs.
What do you offer for multiple births?
We normally set up a separate sign for each baby. The first sign is priced at the regular rate of $90. Each subsequent sign is discounted to $60. At the end of the rental period, the new parents keep each personalized bundle, star or cloud. If you’d like to have a single sign for twins, I can share a few example photos via email.
What do you offer for grandparents?
If a grandparent sign is ordered at the same time as the sign for the new parents, the discounted rental price for a grandparent sign is $80/week. If rented alone, the price is $90/week. Please note: The grandparent bundle is generic, simply announcing the birth of a grandson or a granddaughter, and is not a keepsake.
If the grandparent prefers a customized/and or keepsake bundle, the normal pricing will apply. **Delivery charges will apply if the grandparents’ address is more than 20 miles from our nest.
How does the baby shower rental work?
Hill Country Storks and More offers signs for baby showers. We have indoor and outdoor stands available to place the sign in the desired location for your event. Please include your wording for the sign in the “Additional Comments” section under the Purchaser’s Information on the Hill Country Storks and More online order form. We will contact you after your order has been placed to verify the details.
What do you provide for a gender reveal party?
Hill Country Storks offers pink/blue, or gender-neutral storks for gender reveal parties. The stork can be placed inside or outside with our stands. The stork bundle can include a message such as “He or She what will it be?” or “Pink or Blue what do you think?” or a custom message. The stork can also be used to reveal the baby’s gender at the party. We will put “It’s a Girl” or “It’s a Boy” on the stork bundle and, when the stork bundle is delivered, it will be wrapped in a burlap bag with a beautiful bow for the big reveal at your party.
Do you make hospital door signs?
Yes! The door sign is the bundle we use for our stork rentals. We’ll customize it to your preference and deliver it for $40 (monogram is $5 extra).
How long is the rental period?
The rental period is one week. For example, if we deliver on Monday we will pick up the sign the following Monday. At the time we pick up the sign, we will leave the bundle, sibling or message stars, dog bones, or cat sign at the front door for the new parents to keep. (We offer an option to add 3 days to the rental, for an additional fee.)
How soon should I order a sign? What is the cut-off for next-day delivery?
We do not reserve newborn storks in advance due to the unpredictability of a baby’s arrival. We will have a sign available for you within 48-hours of your call.
We begin deliveries at 7:30 every morning. Most often, we are able to install the sign(s) before the baby arrives home, but we can’t guarantee it.
Our firm cut-off for next-day delivery of newborn sign rentals is 4:00 p.m. the day before. If the delivery address is in our delivery area, and you’d like to have the stork in the yard before the new parents and baby arrive home, we must have all the necessary info and payment no later than 4:00 p.m. the afternoon before they’re to be discharged. Earlier notice is always appreciated.
We don’t guarantee a sign will be installed prior to the new parents returning home with the baby in any location, although we try our best.

What is your area of service?
We are based near Marion and serve New Braunfels, Marion, Seguin, Cibolo, Schertz, McQueeney, Garden Ridge, Universal City, and Live Oak.
Is a lawn necessary to install the Stork Lady Signs?
Yes. Our signs must be installed on traditional residential lawns. We define a lawn as a wide expanse of unobstructed soil with grass on the top. For example, we cannot install signs in rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, thick landscaping or hard-packed soil that has been used as a driveway. We are required to drive the stake into the ground 10-inches to properly / safely install a sign. It’s not possible in the situations described above.
We cannot place a sign in front of public utility boxes, water mains, or other structures owned by the city, county, or state. We cannot block access to these areas or we could be fined and/or have our signs destroyed because they are impeding the area.
Where will you place my sign?
We’ll use our best judgment, making sure of visibility. Sometimes there are sprinkler systems, tree roots, utilities, etc. that will dictate placement, but we will do our best to ensure prime visibility. If there’s a specific location you’d like the sign to be placed, please let us know at the time of the order.
Does anyone need to be home when the sign is delivered?
We don’t require anyone to be home when the sign is delivered. If there is a specific spot you’d like the sign to be placed, please let us know at the time of the order.
When do you deliver your yard signs?
Monday – Saturday only. No deliveries on Sunday:
We begin deliveries at 7:30 each morning, Monday through Saturday. Typically, we are able to install the sign(s) before the baby arrives home, but we can’t guarantee it.
If the delivery address is within 20 miles of our nest, the sign will be delivered no later than noon. If the delivery address is located farther away, the time of day the signs are delivered will be dependent on my schedule. We can’t guarantee any sign will be installed prior to the new parents returning home with the baby in any location, although I strive for that.
We don’t deliver on Sunday.
What color vinyl do you use on the baby bundle, stars, bones, and cat signs?
Stork Signs:
We use pink or blue on the sides of the bundle. For wording, our default color is black because it’s easy to read and matches the sign. However, we are happy to use your color preference. Be sure to let us know at the time you order. If you don’t request a different color, we will use black.
Sibling / Message Stars:
Our default color is black but there is a colorful background of pink or blue polka dots or hearts on sibling signs.
Can I move, mow around or attach anything to the yard signs?
Please do not move and/or remove the yard sign, because of possible damage. Please use extreme caution when mowing or weed eating near the sign as damage can occur if any contact is made with the sign. Do not attach anything to the sign, including balloons. When a balloon pops the sun bakes the balloon into the sign causing permanent damage.
What happens if the yard sign gets damaged?
If you notice any damage on the sign please notify Hill Country Storks & More immediately. Our signs are durable, weather-resistant, and designed to last. However, the signs are not designed for climbing. We are not responsible, or liable, for any, and all, injuries involving the sign while on the recipient’s property. The owner of the home in which the rental sign is posted will be responsible for payment of any damage to the sign while on the property. By ordering a sign, the homeowner accepts responsibility for the sign while on their property.
Where do you deliver? Is there a delivery charge?
We serve the Marion, New Braunfels, Seguin, Schertz, Cibolo, Selma, Universal City, Garden Ridge and McQueeney. Delivery is free if the rental is located within a 20-mile radius of our home. We deliver to LaVernia, and Bulverde, but a fee will apply if the rental is more than 20 miles from our home in Marion.
1-20 miles – No additional fee
21-25 miles – $20
26-30 miles – $30

What is your refund policy?
You will receive a full refund if any of the following apply:
- You cancel your sign rental at least 24 hours in advance.
- Extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up your sign.
You will not receive a refund if any of the following apply:
- We are unable to get into a gated neighborhood, because we were not given a gate code, or it doesn’t work.
- The security guard at a gated community refuses to allow us entry. It is important that you make arrangements with the guard to give us access prior to the time of delivery.
- The homeowner, or recipient, does not allow us to set up the sign or calls us to request that we pick up the sign prior to the end of the rental period.
- If a dog, or other animal, is threatening or refuses to allow us onto the property.
